SUP Intro-course

Everyone can take part in a SUP intro-course and have a fun, educational and active experience on the water. Learn the most important techniques to get up and paddling on a SUP board safely and correctly.

You are guaranteed the summer's most fun and active experiences at Marielyst beach and in the surrounding area, characterized by cosiness and community. You will be taught by trained instructors in general use and handling of MTB, SUP board and equipment. On the SUP board, you get an introduction to paddling and balance technique as well as water and weather conditions, so you feel more confident on the SUP board and in the water. On MTB, you are introduced to braking technology, so you can control your speed with simple and simple tools. Basic position is reviewed so that you are able to drive safely and securely in more demanding terrain. The course focuses on creating a safe and comfortable introduction to MTB, so you get the best experiences in the outdoors.

SUP Safari

Head out for an adventure with Mærk’s tour guides and experience the stunning nature up close while you paddle on a SUP board along the coasts of Lolland-Falster.

You get a completely unique tour experience for the whole family or with your partner, as the beautiful coasts glide slowly by with time to dwell on the impressions along the way. On the trips, you may be lucky enough to see porpoises, seals or the country's largest birds of prey, the sea eagles. There is also time for fun and challenging activities, and you are almost guaranteed to end up with a trip in the water! A popular excursion destination is the nature area Guldborgsund, which stretches along and along the narrow strait between Lolland and Falster from the Baltic Sea in the east to the Småland waters in the west. Nature Park Maribosøerne, which is said to be Denmark's most island-rich lakes, is also a beloved excursion destination. The areas offer a rich and varied landscape with wide salt meadows, forest and cultivated areas.

The strait and the small islands, some of which are reserved as bird sanctuaries, are favourite breeding grounds for large flocks of birds. And the surrounding areas are home to abundant wildlife.

Courses and tours are conducted by trained instructors and tour guides and place a strong emphasis on safety and security.

The SUP school is open year-round.
