Langeland, known for its beautiful nature and unique light, has been a destination for artists since the 1960s. This Easter, the island is celebrating its art and culture with a range of events.

Over 40 artists will be opening their workshops and studios to visitors. This annual event has been taking place since 2002. In addition to individual workshops, there will also be a joint exhibition at the Nowhuset in Tullebølle. Each artist will showcase a number of their works, giving visitors a taste of what to expect when visiting them. The Artists' Open Doors event is a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the artistic process and experience the vibrant art scene on Langeland.

Children can embrace their inner spy at Langelandsfortet while Skovsgaard Manor offers new activities for families with children at the nature centre.

Embark on art walks along Langeland's 160 km Art Route, which combines art and cultural experiences with visits to individual artists and craftsmen, allowing you to appreciate both nature and public art.

Don't miss the opportunity to explore Rudkøbing, a charming market town with specialty shops and galleries that stay open longer on Easter Saturday.

Visit Strynø, a small island with a multicultural community of 350 inhabitants and 30 nationalities, where you can discover local entrepreneurs, sparkling cider, and handicrafts.

These events offer a combination of art, sightseeing, and exploration of the local area.
