The site is located near the Limfjord in Aggersund South. Aggersund serves as the entrance to and exit from the Vesthimmerland Municipality.
It is also where you can find Northern Europe's largest Viking fortress, Aggersborg. Aggersund boasts beautiful scenery along the Limfjord with fantastic sunrises and sunsets. Aggersund has its own small boat harbor, which is filled with boats.
The area also offers excellent fishing opportunities, including herring and garfish.
