San Giovanni is recognised by the Slow Food movement, and is one of only three Italian restaurants to receive 2 stars from the Danish Dining Guide. The house's wine cellar "La Cantina" is a star in itself with more than 350 vintages from top Italian wineries.

Their rooms are furnished in exclusive Italian style with black granite floors, overhead and wall lamps by designer Tiziana, and ceilings of the Sala degli Angeli decorated in hand-painted "Rafael" angels.
