Five holiday homes at Engestofte Estate
Do you dream of spending your holiday in a thatched half-timbered house in the middle of a nature park? Engestofte Estate offers beauty and quality in historic surroundings.
Engestofte Estate has five half-timbered houses, located in the Maribo Lakes Nature Park. The houses are nicely renovated and filled with beautiful furniture and interiors. All the houses also have fully equipped kitchens, lovely gardens with garden furniture and barbecues, and there is access to the lake for fishing, swimming and sailing. The houses can be rented for weekend stays and holidays throughout the year. Bed linen and towels can be purchased during your stay.
It is often possible to go canoeing on the lake in the summer. You must contact Engestofte Estate for this.
There is access to the old beech forest where you can go for many beautiful walks. Here you can be lucky enough to spot the rare sea eagles that breed here as well as rare wild orchids.
If you bring rods from home, it is very good to fish in the lake. This can be done from the bathing jetty in the park.
If you live in the Fisherman's House, you have your own bathing jetty, which is why you can swim and fish.
Dogs are only allowed with prior written permission.
