"Water tower" in Store Heddinge

You will find the Water Tower from 1911, appearing like a town gate, at the end of Munkegade. The tower was built of chalk from Stevns Cliffs, but with a base of red bricks. going through the gate, you enter "Munkevaenget", a small town park dating from the late 19th century.

The top of the Water Tower offers an impressive view of large parts of Stevns.
