Vrøgum Kær

Vrøgum Kær is a nature area that consists of willow swamp and willow scrub in mosaic with transitional poor marsh and the very rare habitat type for the West Jutland, extreme rich marsh. The pond has previously been extensively grazed, but has been overgrown for a number of years.

The area is highly valued and is a particularly valuable landscape as a "stepping stone" between other natural areas. Following the Danish Nature Fund's takeover, grazing has once again taken place in the lake and clearing of growth.
