Try out various water activities when the SHORES equipment trailer hits the road this summer.

Give various coastal activities a go – completely free of charge!

The SHORES equipment trailer will be touring throughout the summer. Here you can borrow equipment free of charge and throw yourself into the many fun activities the coast has to offer. Among other things, you can get advice on sea swimming, borrow snorkels and flippers, try out a SUP board and get a basic introduction to wing surfing, or have a go at wave surfing. You can also borrow a shrimp net and explore life in the shallow water. Activities are subject to wind and weather conditions.

If you’re complete beginners, we’re happy to give you a brief introduction to the equipment. We have everything you need – flippers, wetsuits, life jackets – all available to borrow free of charge.

SHORES staff member Lesley Brent is on hand with small wing kites, so you can try your hand at kitesurfing in a safe and controlled environment. Over the summer, there will also be opportunities to learn more about various diving disciplines and push your own limits, as project staff member Andreas Boulund will be introducing different landings from disciplines such as death and high diving.

New this year, we are offering on-site tourist information. Meet Visit Langeland at the equipment trailer and get inspiration for nearby experiences, routes, practical tips and ideas for the rest of your day on Langeland.

SUP is only possible in onshore winds or when there is no wind.
