”Pigen med pilekvisten” is a combination of classic and modern. Her face isn't detailed and neither is her hair. However, her hands, body and the willow twig are more detailed. The sculpture shows that the girl is looking for water. I former times they believed that is was possible to find underground water by the use of willow twigs.
