Oslo Gospel Choir – A Star Shines Tonight
On November 28, 2026, experience Oslo Gospel Choir at 4:00 pm or 8:00 pm at MCH Herning Kongrescenter. Look forward to an atmospheric Christmas concert filled with warm gospel harmonies, beautiful festive songs and meaningful moments to share with family and friends.
Oslo Gospel Choir brings the warmth of Christmas to the theatre hall at MCH Herning Kongrescenter with the concert A Star Shines Tonight.
Since 1988, the choir has combined the American gospel tradition with Nordic sounds and modern arrangements. The audience can enjoy interpretations of classic and contemporary Christmas songs, performed with the choir’s distinctive harmonies.
The concert title comes from the original song En stjerne skinner i natt, written by the choir’s conductor and founder, Tore W. Aas. Gather family or friends for a concert filled with hope, joy and heartfelt music.
Two concerts will take place at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Each concert is expected to last approximately 90 minutes and will be performed without an interval. Seating is numbered.
