In the darkness, you can find light in Fiskeriet Hus and learn more about the lives and livelihoods of fishermen. It is a fun experience where you can explore a world built of fun, curious and remarkable artefacts from a bygone era that bear witness to hard work, diligence and willpower.
To mark Light in the Darkness, Fiskeriets Hus is serving free beer or water, and admission is free.
See a fisherman's home as it looked in the old days. The tools they used and the workshops that supported the fishing industry.

The exhibition features many beautiful model ships, some of which were built by a local fisherman.
On the walls hang countless nameplates from the many fishing boats that local enthusiasts have collected over the years.
