Nexø Church
Nexø Church in Nexø is one of the town’s oldest and most distinctive landmarks. Its unique timber-framed tower with an onion-shaped spire stands out above the surrounding area. Despite damage during the 1945 bombardment, the church remains a symbol of the town’s history and resilience.

If you walk along Købmagergade in Nexø, you will soon come to a beautiful sandstone fence. Behind this fence lies one of Nexø's oldest buildings, namely Nexø Church.

Despite damage, Nexø Church survived the bombardment in 1945. The tall, unusual half-timbered tower with the onion spire is the city's landmark and towers over the beautiful cemetery.
