Ceramics between sea, forest and everyday life

In Listed on Bornholm’s east coast, Lov i Listed creates ceramics where nature is not only inspiration, but part of everyday life. Here, Torben Lov and Susanne Glerup Lov live and work with the sea in front of them and the forest just behind the house.

Torben throws functional stoneware, where form and function go hand in hand. Two series define the work: Hverdag, inspired by the colours of a summer sky with glossy and matte contrasts, and Kadeau, shaped by the coastal forest and cliff landscape – developed in close collaboration with the Bornholm Gourmet restaurant Kadeau.

Alongside the series, unique one-off pieces regularly emerge, where new forms are allowed to develop in the studio. The production is also guided by sustainability: leftover clay is reused, and firing is done electrically as a conscious choice towards more responsible production.
