Kronprins Frederiks Bro

The first bridge crossing the Fjord at shore of Frederikssund was a wooden bridge established 1868.

During the 1920'ies and 1930'ies the traffic intensity increased rapidly with cars and trucks etc. The local county, Frederiksborg Amt, then decided to built a brand new and modern bridge. This bridge was inaugurated by King Christian 10thOctober 30th, 1935 - and still it is the same bridge crossing the Fjord today!
