Karrebæk Fjord Design is an active workshop where you can meet Ebbe and Ingelise. Here, they work with kiln-formed glass and make jewellery from silver, amber and stones, which they polish themselves.

During your holiday, you can find an interesting stone and have Ebbe and Ingelise work on it, allowing you to take home a personal reminder of Karrebæksminde. You can also have a child’s drawing made into glass.

Using a diamond drill, the workshop can drill holes in stones and offers the following:

  • Oil lamps

  • Stone teapot warmers

  • Stone candlesticks with metal mesh

  • Gemstones

Drinking glass repairs

Chips and nicks can be polished away so that the glass can be used again.

Find your own souvenir

Find an interesting stone about the size of a fist, preferably with a flat surface so that the stone can stand on its own. Bring the stone to the workshop, where a hole can be drilled for a teapot warmer. In this way, the stone from your trip can become a personal souvenir or gift.
