The ice rink is centrally located at Flakhaven by Odense City Hall, making it easy to include in a visit to the city centre. Children and adults can try ice skating here, whether they are stepping onto the ice for the first time or already feel confident on skates.

Its central location makes it easy to combine a session on the ice with a visit to a Christmas market, some shopping or a stop at a café. There is no need to bring any equipment, as skate hire is included in the admission price and skates are provided at the rink.

Prices and practical information about the ice rink

Admission to the ice rink costs DKK 65 per person. The price includes skate hire, and the skates provided must be worn on the rink. You cannot bring your own skates.

Each ticket includes 55 minutes of ice skating. Skating aids and helmets are also available to hire at the rink. Helmet hire is not included in the admission price, but visitors are advised to wear a helmet and gloves.

Children under the age of six must be accompanied on the ice by an adult who is also wearing skates. All skating is at your own risk, and everyone entering the ice must have a ticket. Food and drinks are not permitted on the ice or in the changing area.

Opening hours and tickets

Tickets can be purchased at the ice rink at Flakhaven. Opening hours may vary throughout the season, and the rink may be closed on selected days over Christmas and New Year. Check the current opening hours before your visit, particularly if you are planning to visit Odense on a public holiday.

The ice is maintained at scheduled times during the day. The rink is temporarily closed while this work is carried out and the ice is prepared for the next visitors.
