Hotel Strandgaarden is one of Denmark's old seaside hotels and has welcomed guests as a seaside hotel for almost 100 years.
However, the history of Strandgaarden on Læsø spans more than 300 years, and although the place has not always been a hotel, it has always been a popular destination for those seeking authentic island charm.
Today, Hotel Strandgaarden is a seasonally open seaside hotel, available for booking during the summer season, and the rest of the year the hotel remains closed.
