The city is located in the middle of Brønderslev Municipality and is situated in a culturally historic area with Klokkerhold Møllesø in the city's most Northern part. Klokkerholm is surronded by farming land med multiple historical elements. The area offers multiple burial mounds most of them dating from ancient times.

Klokkerholm Møllesø: The biggest lake in Vendsyssel. The lake has a filled with fish and around the lake exists a rich animal life. It is allowed to fish in the Western part of the lake, but remember that fishing card is needed. Fishing card can be bought online.
Brøndlund: The path splits the planted fields and from here a beautiful view over Aalborg can be enjoyed. In this area there is a vast amount deers and the place is great for bird watching as well.
Sognefogedgården: This is a well-preserved burial mound from ancient times. Here, the dead were buried in coffins of oak under the huge compound.
Football Golf: In Klokkerholm lies and newly established football golf field. The field was constructed in 2011 and consists of 18 holes.
