Guided Mushroom Hunt - Løkken
Join us on an educational and experiential mushroom hunt during the autumn holidays - in Løkken.
Nature guide Jakob Kofoed from the Vendsyssel Historical Museum, guides and tells interesting stories about the mushrooms, with a particular focus on which mushrooms can be eaten and which should be avoided.
The mushroom hunt ends with a review of the mushrooms found at the packed lunch house. Please bring a basket for the mushrooms and a small knife. We will be ready with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, but you are also welcome to bring your own hot drink. After the mushroom hunt, chef Esben Daarbak will conjure up three delicious appetizers, made with the day's mushrooms and other wild ingredients from the forest. These small dishes are served with an exquisite glass of Burgundy wine, kindly sponsored by restaurant 1. Lounge in Løkken.
