Grynderup Lake – nature restoration and birdlife
Grynderup Lake has been restored after being drained since the mid-1800s. The lake now covers 140 hectares, with a total natural area of 423 hectares including meadows and visitor facilities. Around the lake, you’ll find birdwatching towers, picnic tables, primitive shelters, and a cable ferry at the northern end. The lake attracts a wide variety of birds, including ducks, geese, and swans – a perfect destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
