Grene Sande mountainbike route near Billund
The Grene Sande Mountain Bike Trail is a 9 km MTB route located in Gyttegård Plantation, close to Billund. The trail is perfect for intermediate riders and families seeking an active outdoor experience. Starting points include Løvlundvej in the northern part of the plantation and Gyttegård Golf Club, which also offers bike rentals and refreshments. The trail is marked with white MTB symbols, and it's recommended to ride clockwise.
Mountain bike rental, café and facilities
The trail offers multiple starting points. See below.
One is at Gyttegaard Golf Club Billund (Billundvej 43), where you can rent mountain bikes for adults, use the toilet facilities, buy a refreshment at the Gyttegaard Golf Café and park your car.
Another starting point is at Løvlundvej in the northern part of the plantation, approximately 200 m into the plantation after crossing the Grene Stream, where you can leave your car in P4. Entry is from Annexvej.
To ensure safety, bikers must always follow the trail clockwise – watch out for the white signs marking the route.
