The city Glesborg

Glesborg is located in the northern part of Djursland, 13 km from Grenaa, and centrally located among a number of small villages. Bus services, excellent grocery shops and other shops and trades attract tourists from the neighbouring holiday home areas. Glesborg Church is often referred to as the “cathedral” of Djursland, as it is larger than most village churches.

From Glesborg, many of Djursland’s major attractions are within easy reach. The Kattegat Centre, Grenaa Harbour, Djurs Sommerland and the scenic coastal landscapes of Norddjurs are all nearby, making the town a calm base for families, nature enthusiasts and weekend visitors.

The surroundings offer good opportunities for cycling, walking and enjoying the open landscapes. Fjellerup Beach is close by and provides swimming, angling and long stretches of coastline.
