The Funen Cattleshow

Since 1961, the Funen Livestock Show has been held at the traditional fairground in the centre of Odense, where a grassy field and stables are ready for the island's farmers to show off their animals every year in the hope of achieving high placings and prizes for good breeding.

The purpose of the tradition and the annual animal show has been to promote breeding and agricultural development through the exhibition of animals and equipment from all over the country.

In addition to the animals, you can see impressive tractors and other agricultural machinery and taste delicious street food from various nationalities.

New food festival
In 2024, the animal show will also host a brand new food festival. Through inspiring food experiences, the food festival will put food from Funen on the map, and the long-term goal is to renew the Danes' common food culture.
