The Forest Tower - Camp Adventure
Forest Tower is a remarkable nature experience in South Zealand, where the walk through the forest and the view from the top are just as memorable as the tower itself.

Why is Forest Tower an experience you will remember?
Forest Tower at Camp Adventure takes you 135 metres above sea level to the highest accessible point on Zealand. The experience begins long before you reach the top. A 900-metre boardwalk leads you through the forest with resting spots and viewing platforms along the way, inviting you to slow down and take it all in. Here, there is time to look up into the treetops, enjoy the calm of the forest and spot Camp Adventure’s climbing park in action high above you. From the top, you can see as far as 25 kilometres across the landscape of South Zealand. On clear days, even the skyline of Copenhagen appears on the horizon.
A walk through the forest and up above the treetops
At the foot of the tower, the experience continues on the 650-metre spiral ramp that winds gently all the way to the top. With every turn, the view changes. First, you are close to the forest floor, then level with the beech treetops, and finally high above the canopy with open views in every direction. It is exactly this smooth transition between forest, height and wide horizons that makes Forest Tower at Camp Adventure much more than a classic observation tower on Zealand.
What makes the architecture of Forest Tower so special?
Forest Tower is also an architectural experience in its own right. Designed by EFFEKT Arkitekter, the tower’s distinctive hourglass shape gives it a light yet striking presence in the middle of the forest. Built from corten steel and oak, it blends naturally into its surroundings. The award-winning architecture is not only something you notice from afar. You experience it all the way up, where shape, light and views come together and make the ascent part of the attraction itself.
Is Forest Tower suitable for both children and adults?
Yes, Forest Tower is well suited to families, couples, groups of friends and grandparents travelling with children who want a nature experience with a real sense of wonder. The long boardwalk and gently rising ramp make the route manageable for many visitors, especially when the day is meant to feel more inspiring than adventurous. For children, there is something special about walking through the forest and suddenly finding themselves above the treetops. For adults, it is often the combination of calm, views and architecture that stays with them.
