Enghøj Church - architecture by Henning Larsen
Discover Enghøj Church in north-western Randers, designed by Henning Larsen Architects and consecrated in 1994.
Daylight and a ship-shaped ceiling
Look up at the ship-shaped ceiling and notice the daylight streaming in through the small windows. A strip of light illuminates the altar wall, whilst the altar, baptismal font and pulpit, all in black granite, provide a contrast to the light.
Organ and bell tower
At the back of the church, you can see the organ by Th. Frobenius & Sønner, whose shape follows the church’s roof structure.
Also note the bell tower, built in 2012, with two bells from the French foundry Paccard. Both bear inscriptions by the author Iben Krogsdal.
