Daneverk - the Nordic region's largest fortress - included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2018

Danevirke Museum is facing new times and right now the Archäologisches Landesamt and Museum Sønderjylland are preparing for the construction of a new building, designed by Lundgaard & Tranbjerg Arkitekter, which will be completed in the second half of 2024.
