Cocktail bar Gedulgt in Aarhus

Gedulgt is an award-winning cocktail bar discreetly hidden in a backyard on Fredensgade. Behind an anonymous door that at first glance looks like the entrance to an old bicycle shed, hides an exclusive bar experience in a class of its own. The name ‘Gedulgt’ comes from an Old Danish word meaning ‘secretive’ - just as the atmosphere and location suggest.

As you enter, a stylish bar with a striking visual expression is revealed. An eight-metre-long concrete bar forms the centrepiece of the space, flanked by illuminated bottles in the background - all carefully selected and arranged with a sharp aesthetic. Around the room are marble tables, each illuminated by spotlights that highlight the cocktails like works of art in a theatre.

The cocktail bar Gedulgt is known for its innovative and colourful cocktails that play with taste, smell and visual presentation. It's easy to get carried away and forget about time and place - all senses are spoilt in this special atmosphere.
