Kanal Jazz is for a broad audience, and we make an effort to offer a diverse music programme. Every year we present new jazz bands to keep the festival fresh and exciting, while also welcoming returning favourites that bring great atmosphere and festive vibes. In addition, our local band Jazz Skallerne performs every year and is an essential part of the festival. Food is available for both lunch and dinner, and there is a dance floor for those who love to dance – and it is always full, as the rhythms are impossible to resist. Our guests return year after year to enjoy the cosy weekend in the tent, and many have formed friendships and meet again every summer. The intimate atmosphere attracts visitors to the charming town of Løgstør, which offers a wide range of events throughout the year. Kanal Jazz also supports Løgstør’s Thursday summer concerts and the Maritime Festival in late summer. The unique location with scenic views makes the festival truly special – during breaks, you can enjoy the Limfjord just outside the tent. When you spend the weekend in Løgstør, attractions are right at your doorstep, and there are plenty of accommodation options in and around the town, including B&Bs, hotels, and campsites.
