Bridges in Time – 25 audio stories about Holstebro
The audio work “Bridges in Time” is a journey of discovery across the past, present, and future of Holstebro. An artistic audio walk with 25 short audio stories narrated by actor Thure Lindhardt and created by the production company Kontrafej.
“Bridges in Time” is a collection of interactive audio experiences around Holstebro. Some of the stories use the city's history as a starting point, while others invite you to interact with Holstebro in a new way.
You need the Vizgu app to experience “Bridges in Time.” See how to download Vizgu and get started with the audio work on Bridges in Time (https://www.holstebro.dk/broeritiden).
The journey starts at Brotorvet 6, in the center of Holstebro, where Storebro crosses Storå. Here you can listen to the first story, and the remaining audio stories will be released. From here, you can explore the city at your leisure.
You decide the route, the order, and how much you want to experience. The audio plays automatically when you arrive at a marked location on the map in the Vizgu app.
“Bridges in Time” is for everyone, but children over the age of 12 will get the most out of the audio stories.
Bring a fully charged cell phone and headphones.
The audio work was created in connection with Holstebro's 750th anniversary and inaugurated by the Royal Couple in 2024.
