Rides, water park and animals for the whole family

Set aside a full day for play and experiences at Brændesgårdshaven, where rides, a water park, animals and green gardens come together in one place. Children and adults can climb, jump, row, soar through the air and get close to the animals – or find a quieter moment among the garden’s trees, flowers and shrubs.

Brændesgårdshaven dates back to 1933, when the garden of the former farm was opened to the public. That history can still be felt today, as the green garden provides the setting for an amusement park with an unpretentious, old-fashioned charm.

Play that gets you involved

Many of the experiences invite active play. Try the old hand-driven carousel, Klatreland climbing area, bouncy pillows and bouncy castles, the Jobostien obstacle course and mini golf – or take the zip line across the large lake. You can also slow down with a rowboat trip on the lake.

A day in the water

On warm summer days, much of your visit can take place in Brændesgårdshaven’s 6,000 m² outdoor water park. There is a pool and water slides for water play, as well as terraces where you can take a break in the sun. Lifeguards are present when the water park is open.

Get close to the animals

In the garden’s animal area, you can meet farm animals as well as more exotic species. There are goats, donkeys and llamas, along with monkeys, lemurs, coatis, meerkats and a variety of birds.

When you need a break from the activities, the garden itself remains part of the experience. Find a quiet spot among old trees and flowers before the family is ready for the next ride.
