Route description
Ringebakkerne and Vang Granitbrud are a protected and highly hilly rocky landscape, where the island’s primeval rock is mixed with old quarries. Today, the quarrying business has been replaced with plenty of opportunities for nature and outdoor activities. Here are wetlands, hiking trails, climbing routes, shelters AND mountain bike trails. The magnificent surroundings and rich wildlife mean that you simply will not find anything like it in the rest of Denmark.
The route in Ringebakkerne can easily be made longer, either via bicycle paths through the forest to Rønne or up Bornholm’s cliff ridge along gravel roads towards Hammershus.
