Allotment

Antony Gormley's monumental work "Allotment" was made in connection with the 1995 West Coast Peace Sculpture Project, marking the 50th anniversary of Denmark's liberation.

The work consists of a number of gray concrete blocks. The total of 116 sculptures represent citizens from Hvide Sande aged 2-80 years, reproduced in correct altitude. The 116 portraits consists of real citizens from Hvide Sande in the year 1995, where the work was made.
