Motor Festival in Allingåbro

The Allingåbro Motor Festival is a day of speed, the roar of engines and experiences across the town. The festival takes place on the third Saturday in May, and in 2027 it will be held on Saturday 15 May for the 22nd time.

Allingåbro is transformed into a huge motor-themed area with activities for motor enthusiasts, families and curious visitors alike. Here you can experience drag racing on Hovedgaden, the Danish Tractor Pulling Championships, drifting, motocross, 4x4 off-road, US cars, custom bikes, a children’s funfair and live music.

Drag racing, tractor pulling and drifting

On Hovedgaden, you can get up close to drag racing with cars and motorbikes. The festival highlights drag racing as one of its signature events, and the programme features both Danish drivers and international stars.

Tractor pulling is also a central part of the festival. Here, powerful tractors compete to see who can pull the heavy sled the furthest along the track.

Drifting, motocross, 4x4 off-road and exhibitions of cars and motorbikes make the festival a truly special event, where you can explore several types of motorsport in a single day.

Music, stalls and a festival atmosphere

The Motorfestival combines motorsport with live music and a festival atmosphere. On site, you’ll also find stalls, exhibitors and areas serving food and drink. The festival has a map showing activities, food stalls, dealer street, grandstands and the individual motorsport areas, so you can plan your day in advance.

Practical information

The festival takes place in Allingåbro on Djursland.
Set your GPS to Nordkystvejen 9 to find free parking near the festival site.
Camping is available from Friday at 12:00 to Sunday at 12:00.
Grandstands are available for tractor pulling, drag racing, drifting, 4x4 and motocross, amongst other events.
Earplugs and children’s ear defenders can be purchased at the information desk on site.
Dogs are not permitted at the festival or on the campsite.
Children up to and including 12 years of age have free admission when accompanied by adults. Please note that you must present proof of identity.
