Agersø – island in the Great Belt
Agersø is a cosy island in the Great Belt with around 190 residents, a restored 1892 Dutch windmill, an inn and a well-preserved village – just a 15-minute ferry from Stigsnæs.

Agersø is an island of almost 7 km² between the Great Belt and the Smålandsfarvandet, with around 190 residents. The ferry from Stigsnæs crosses in just fifteen minutes. The island's landmark is the Dutch windmill from 1892, which ground grain until 1959 and is now beautifully restored and cared for by the island's mill society. The cosy village has the Agersø Kro (inn), narrow lanes between farms and houses, and a harbour with both fishing and leisure boats. With fields, coastal meadows, rich birdlife and good bathing, Agersø is a charming destination for cycling and nature holidays.
