Aarhus Summer Huckster Market
Aarhus Kræmmermarked is a recurring market where some of Denmark's best peddlers set up their stalls at Tangkrogen close to the centre of Aarhus. Most dealers have been participating for more than 30 years, but you can also buy from private individuals selling the gold from their storerooms, basements and closets.
Flea market with lots to explore
Aarhus Flea Market fills Tangkrogen with life, stalls and great finds. Here you can stroll among more than 200 stalls brimming with everything from retro furniture, antiques and books to clothing, design objects and unique flea market finds.
The market attracts both private sellers and experienced stallholders – many of whom have been here for decades – and you will find both classic flea market finds and quirky souvenirs.
Summer day with activities
The flea market is more than just shopping. You can enjoy food from the stalls, relax with a soft ice cream or a beer, listen to music and experience the cosy atmosphere under the open sky. There is entertainment for children, and the market is an obvious destination for a family outing.
The Lions Club is behind the market, and all profits go to humanitarian causes, so your visit helps make a difference.
Tangkrogen – an active area
Tangkrogen is located close to Marselisborg Harbour and Mindeparken and is one of the city's major gathering places for events and activities throughout the summer. In addition to the flea market, the area also offers green spaces, harbour views and space for play and relaxation.
