Stejlepladsen by Stege Bay nature campsite
South of Præstø, where farmland meets the sea, lies Stejlepladsen — a small, peaceful spot of nature right by Stege Bay.

The site was established in collaboration with Oremandsgaard Estate, which owns the land, and it remains a place where you can truly feel the calm and rhythm of nature.
A narrow path winds its way down through the landscape to the coast. You can take a swim in the clear waters of the bay — just remember to bring water shoes, as the shore is rough and natural.
You may meet our local neighbor, Helge, and his loyal dog, Sascha, who keep their small boat anchored just off the site. If the wind is right, you might hear the motor humming as they head out — don’t forget to wave.
The site is open 24 hours a day. There is a toilet and a fire pit at the campsite, and you can drive all the way in by car. To use the site, you need to be a member of Landjord. Membership costs either 400 DKK per month or 2,990 DKK per year. Through this platform, you can get an annual membership for 1,895 DKK by requesting a discount code at info@landjord.com.
Stejlepladsen is part of Landjord, a non-profit membership organization working to reconnect people with nature. Landjord establishes nature campsites on farms that convert their fields into natural areas. By renting the land, we give farmers a financial incentive to create more nature, while everyone gains new opportunities to experience and stay in it.
