Pinse På Det Nordatlantiske Fyr i Hanstholm
Families can embark on a playful outdoor adventure with the tale of Pirate Petra and her parrot, Pjuske. Guided by an app, you follow a 30‑minute route around the lighthouse filled with fun tasks and interactive storytelling. The activity is free, available throughout May, wheelchair- and stroller-friendly, and can be enjoyed at your own pace. A pirate diploma or treasure map can be collected at Hanstholm Library as a memorable keepsake. Inside the lighthouse, art opens the door to deeper contemplation. Local artist Anne Kristine presents “I Am Vulnerable” – a heartfelt and sensory exhibition exploring vulnerability as a shared human condition. Through painting, photography, textiles and ceramics, she creates space for reflection in a world shaped by speed and perfection. At the same time, visitors can explore the surreal universe of internationally acclaimed artist Alexei Svetlov. His poetic works depict floating cities, suspended buildings and unexpected urban landscapes, inviting the viewer into a world where imagination defies gravity and logic. Pentecost at The North Atlantic Lighthouse is an invitation to explore, reflect and be inspired. Come and experience Hanstholm – where nature, art and stories come together beneath the open sky.
