Norrlyst

Norrlyst is located in the heart of Copenhagen in a beautiful old half-timbered house from 1799. Norrlyst modernly interprets the classic open-faced sandwiches and combines animal welfare, sustainability, and ecology.

Norrlyst is a Michelin restaurant with a focus on biodynamic, organic, and local products. The restaurant cares about climate and its connection with the tasting experience.

Norrlyst is among the 11 restaurants of Denmark, which have the status of Bib Gourmand. At Norrlyst the products speak for themselves. The restaurant has two main concepts, where one is focusing on lunch and the other on the evening experience.

Lunch

At lunch, the chefs care for the traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches (smørrebrød). The open-faced sandwiches are modern and created in combinations and tastings, which are inspired by the nature surrounding us. For the lunch, you may enjoy one of the many different homemade schnapps or a special beer from the local breweries.

Evening

In the evening the restaurant serves its 4-course Norrlyst menu and a 4-course green menu. The two menus are full of contrasts, which both differ from each season. The menus are based on Danish products and are prepared with respect to the flavors.
