Halloween in Søndervig: a (not so) cosy afternoon by the North Sea
The autumn half-term is perfect for a trip westwards. Plenty of space on the beach, the sea grey and wild, and the wind really tugs at your jackets. It is precisely this atmosphere that we have drawn on for a new tradition: the Halloween Adventure Tour in Søndervig.

On Wednesday 14 October, the seaside resort will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland. Amongst the holiday homes, marram grass, sand dunes and streets, witches, vampires and skeletons will appear; by a crashed car, clues await to be investigated further.
The walk isn’t a race, and nobody wins by getting there first. The point is to spend time together, get some exercise, enjoy the fresh air and experience the seaside resort from a slightly rougher angle. At each checkpoint, a small challenge and a hidden letter await, and once you’ve collected them all, you can crack the secret Halloween word. A little surprise awaits you at the finish line.
Young and old, parents and grandparents are all welcome to join in. Walk, run or take your time at each checkpoint – whatever suits you best. Fancy dress is, of course, very welcome. Afterwards, the beach lies just beyond the dunes, if you fancy getting thoroughly blown about before heading home.
- Time: Start anytime between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm, finish by 3.00 pm at the latest
- For the whole family, and fancy dress is welcome
See you in Søndervig!
