Events in Universe 2026

In the 2026 season, you can look forward to the “Giant Teddy Bear Festival”, where Børste from DR Minisjang will be visiting the park. Another DR personality will be visiting the park when Kristian from Ramasjang Mysteriet comes to the “Mini Spies” event. Towards the end of the year, the park’s popular Halloween events return, offering thrills and magic for the whole family – and much more.

Opening Day – 28 March

10.00–17.00

Universe is waking up after winter, and we’re celebrating with a spectacular opening party! All day long, you can pick up a treasure map at the entrance and help the Easter Bunny find the password to the chest of chocolate eggs, then swap the map for a prize at Bread & Coffee.

The Sønderjyske Garde will open the park with a festive show at the entrance at 10:00, and again at 13:30 they will parade from TestLab to Ball Factory.

From 11:00 to 15:00, the Teddy Bear Factory is open. Here, children can make their own teddy bear completely free of charge! Choose the fabric, fill it with wadding, and bring the teddy bear to life with a special Universe heart.

Birthday, foam party and bubble party – 9 May

10:00–17:00

Universe invites you to a birthday party with foam, bubbles, dancing and loads of fun for children of all ages! The DJ will be playing the coolest tunes, whilst the balloon artist keeps everyone entertained, and there’ll be fun and laughter all day long.

From 11:00, you can get your hands on a pair of cool Universe sunglasses (while stocks last), and at 13:00, the party kicks off with a wild foam party. Round off the day with free birthday cake outside Bread & Coffee (while stocks last).

Huge Teddy Bear Festival – 23 May

10.00–17.00

Fancy a cuddle? Come to the Teddy Bear Festival, a whole day filled with laughter, play and soft, cosy experiences for young and old alike. Meet famous mascots, get high fives and join the festive mascot parade through the park.

Meet Børste from DR Minisjang with the show “Børste og Sangkassen” on the Science Stage and a meet & greet, and say hello to the iconic Mario Brothers.

Don’t miss the delicious teddy bear buns – doughnuts filled with ice cream and sprinkles – perfect for a sweet break in the middle of the festivities.

Fire and Rescue – 6 June

10.00–17.00

Bring the family along for an exciting day filled with brave heroes and impressive dogs! At our Fire and Rescue Day, you can meet firefighters, paramedics and police officers who will demonstrate how they work on a daily basis.

Watch the police dogs in action as they find hidden objects with their amazing sense of smell, or learn how to deal with a fire at home.

A day full of excitement, learning and experiences awaits both children and adults!

Geek-out – 22 August

Put on your geek hat, gather your friends, and get ready for a day packed with games, imagination and fun! Discover our very own Comic Con universe, try retro gaming, explore fantastic worlds and let your creativity run wild.

Nature’s Festival – 5 September

10.00–17.00

Join us for a day filled with animals, scents and exciting discoveries as we celebrate Nature’s Festival at Universe! Together with local exhibitors, we’ll be celebrating all the wonderful things nature has to offer.

The day offers cosy moments, time for reflection and impressive experiences for children and adults alike.

The Mini Spies – 19 September

10.00–17.00

Get out your magnifying glasses: it’s time for mysteries! Go exploring in the park, follow clues and solve puzzles with friends and family.

Experience the new musical show with DR Ramasjang Mysteriet, where Kristian has lost his beloved cat, and it’s up to you to find the culprit! Examine clues, check pockets and help uncover the culprit – all whilst the familiar songs from the TV programme play in the background. A fun and interactive day awaits detectives of all ages!

Halloween After Dark – 7 October

18.00–20.00

The After Dark event at Universe is a special event for the bravest members of the family. As darkness falls, Universe transforms into a haunted world filled with thrills and surprises. Experience the park lit up by colourful lamps and try out selected attractions in the dark.

For the bravest members of the family, we have special scare trails guaranteed to make your hair stand on end – but you can easily give them a miss if you prefer. The first 400 children will receive a free Trick-or-Treat goodie box!

Halloween Week – 10–17 October

In week 42, Universe is transformed into an enigmatic world filled with mysterious creatures and surprises. Halloween Week offers activities for the whole family – young and old alike.

Experience the autumn half-term in a spooky way with skeletons, ghosts and spiders, and look forward to a week full of fun, excitement and surprises for both children and adults.
