UD_OG_ is an educational concept inviting children and families to experience nature through the senses, creativity and shared exploration. In this workshop, we meet in Døndalen and explore the forest’s trees, bark textures and hidden details. Through simple drawing exercises, movement and conversation, we investigate the shapes of trees, patterns in nature and the life found in the surrounding woodland. Activities include blind drawing and quick sketches, bark textures and patterns, leaves and shapes, small games and collaborative exercises, as well as sensory exploration, immersion and creative interpretation. We explore both living and dead trees and take a closer look at traces left by insects, mosses, bark and forest materials. There is room for play, movement and quiet concentration, and everyone can take part regardless of drawing experience. The event is aimed at families with children aged approximately 5 and over and is facilitated by nature and cultural communicator Gaia Armyrantis Trampedach. Duration: approximately 2 hours. Maximum 20 participants. Children take part with an adult. Bring clothing suitable for the weather and optionally a water bottle; materials are provided. A valid Kulturuge wristband is required.
