Danish Songs and Hymns in a Flamenco Dress - Christiansø

A dance concert with Erika Sanchez and Kai Bredholt. Accompanied by accordion, flamenco shoes and the Mexican instrument jarana, Erika Sanchez and Kai Bredholt interpret Danish hymns and songs from the Danish Folk High School Songbook in a flamenco style, complemented by flamenco dance and Mexican songs. Kai Bredholt was born in Copenhagen and has worked as an actor, musician and director at Odin Teatret. In 2025, he helped found Teatret Sleipner. Erika Sanchez was born and raised in Mexico City and works in Denmark as a dancer, singer and organiser of cultural events and theatre performances.
