Creative Sundays with Inspiration and Coziness. Join us for a creative and relaxing Sunday when RARTSTED hosts two watercolor workshops on November 2nd and November 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Unleash your creativity and dive into the enchanting world of watercolor painting at an inspiring workshop led by artist and architect Jørgen Ussing. Whether you are a beginner or experienced painter, you’ll enjoy a day filled with learning, creativity, and wonderful food in the welcoming atmosphere of Restaurant RARTSTED.
The workshops are led by Jørgen Ussing, a passionate watercolor painter and architect, who will guide you through inspiring presentations and hands-on exercises focusing on form, color, light and shadow, and various watercolor techniques.
The day begins with coffee or tea and an introduction to watercolor painting, followed by practice sessions and group reflections. At midday, enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by RARTSTED’s kitchen, creating the perfect moment to recharge and be inspired. In the afternoon, you’ll be introduced to three notable watercolor artists before the day concludes with coffee or tea and a warm farewell.
Participants are welcome to bring their own materials or purchase a set with paints, watercolor paper, and two brushes for just DKK 100.
Price: DKK 980 per day – includes coffee/tea, a morning roll with cheese, lunch, and all instruction.
You can choose to join either one or both workshop days.
