H.C. Andersen Workshop

On the first weekend of every month, Museum of Paper Art hosts an H.C. Andersen workshop in the studio!

This year marks the 150th anniversary of H.C. Andersen’s death and the 220th anniversary of his birth, which is why we celebrate the beloved fairy-tale author!

In the exhibition, you’ll find a special Sun Tribute installation that you can contribute to by creating your own paper sun.

In the workshop, you can create your own Møllemand (Windmill Man). Inside his belly, there’s space for your imagination to run free, and decorate it exactly as you like!

At Museum of Paper Art, you can also explore other exhibitions, including one featuring South African artist Lyndi Sales.

Take a coffee break in our café or browse the many whimsical paperproducts in the museum shop.

The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM – 4 PM.
We look forward to seeing you!

H.C. Andersen’s anniversary year is supported by Jammerbugt Municipality, the North Denmark Region, and Sparekassen Danmark – Fonden Hvetbo.
