Alletiders Pyrus

15 November – 21 December 2025.

It will be a Christmas full of fun and song when Museum Midtjylland opens its doors in November for a large Christmas exhibition about the holiday TV series Alletiders Jul.

From 15 November, Herregården Herningsholm will be transformed into the elves’ and national archive, as a wide selection of impressive props and original costumes from the Christmas series move in.

You’ll get up close with Pyrus, Kandis, and all the other beloved characters from the iconic show. You can, among other things, see the original model of “Nissebo”, Pyrus’ hip-hop elf outfit, Freja’s Christmas dress, and even try to “jump happily in the bath” in the giant flowerpot used by Kandis and the other elves.

Alongside the exhibition, there will be a creative workshop for children and adults, and the whole family can also enjoy a smaller exhibition of Christmas decorations from the 1900s, collected from Herning and the surrounding area.

Floral art and Christmas cheer
This year we have a special collaboration with Birthes Blomster, who will decorate the first floor of the manor house. The atmospheric rooms of Herning’s old manor will be filled with handmade Christmas decorations, beautiful bouquets, and creative floral arrangements, where every detail is carefully crafted to highlight the magic of Christmas. Sarah Hall and her talented team from Birthes Blomster ensure that both children and adults can enjoy a combination of classic Christmas cosiness and modern floral art that brings joy and festive spirit.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take a bit of the magic home, as the decorations will be available for purchase at the manor.
