Many of the Danish State Forests offer facilities to enable access for mobility impaired people.
On June 27, 2003, the state forests’ disability facility number 100 was thus opened. A new handicap-friendly fire place in Hareskoven north west of Copenhagen.

At the Danish Forest and Nature Agency’s homepage, you can see which disability facilities are offered in the individual state-owned forests and nature areas in Denmark. The home page is in Danish, but the local tourist office is happy to provide information about the facilities in their area.
