Copenhagen Airport is located 10 km southeast of the city centre. From there you can go by train to Copenhagen Central Station (also called Hovedbanegården) in just 12 minutes. To the west the station is flanked by the hotel zone and the red light district and to the east by Copenhagen's most visited sight, the amusement park Tivoli. Next to Tivoli you have Rådhuspladsen, the Town Hall Square, from where you can follow the world's longest pedestrian mall, Strøget. Strøget runs through some of the oldest parts of Copenhagen to Kongens Nytorv with the Royal Theatre and the old canal Nyhavn with its many cafes and charming, colorful houses. North and west of the city centre you find the old working class neighborhoods Nørrebro and Vesterbro with many restaurants and fancy shops.
