Lolland-Falster – A part of the country with proud sailing traditions

In our part of the country, we have sailed for thousands of years. For generations, we lived off the sea and furthermore, it constituted our main means of transportation. Ever since the Vikings the sailing history has formed part of the area's history

Houseboats in Sakskøbing

The modern, recently finished houseboats are built with a view to creating new life in the country’s harbours. The houseboats have as their origin a facination with the water with respect for the existing harbour environment, high quality and well-throught-through ship building. The houseboats are for sale or rental as dwellings or business locations.

Our own apple juice

The islands in the Smålandshavet Archipelago between Zealand and Lolland-Falster have everything nature and the sea have provided; Fertile landscapes with apple plantations, local food that is sold from the many stalls along the roads - with apple cider, apple juice and wine production - and over the past few years, this has helped place the islands firmly on the map of Denmark.
